After enjoying a great Thanksgiving our thoughts turned to our fundraiser and holiday party for our employees, clients and vendors. This year, the same as last, we held our event on December 2nd at Hunt Valley Country Club. Again the staff and Chef Warren made our party a delight with great food, a photo booth, a magician, a palm reader, and a great DJ for dancing.  Our great friends at Home Depot Cockeysville, donated a snow blower for raffle our ticket sales were $700. We are so happy we raised more than $7000.00 in Cash and gift cards and 106 pairs of PJs. My son, Al Smith, CEO of Awards Construction donated toys, toys and more toys for the sick kidos to play with in their beds.  A potato chip bar,  candy bar, homemade desserts and a fun Grinch stole Christmas theme for sweet things like candy apples, chocolate dipped pretzels and many flavors of homemade bark. There were treats for everyone.  Another successful party and great memories for all, but we accomplished our goal and that was raise money for the sick kids at Casey Cares.  If you would like to make a donation go to  http://caseycares.org/It  does not cost much to bring a smile to sick kid.
